Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Permission Protocol, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies incorporated by reference. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Description of Service

Permission Protocol is a software service that acts as an AI deploy gate and authorization layer. The service records approval requests, issues authority receipts, and provides workflow controls that help teams require human or policy authorization before sensitive actions such as merges or deploys.

Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, configuring user permissions correctly, and ensuring that all information associated with your account is accurate and current. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to violate law, interfere with the service, bypass configured safeguards, attempt unauthorized access, transmit malicious code, or process content in a manner that infringes the rights of others. You may not use the service to create false audit records or misrepresent approval authority.

Intellectual Property

Permission Protocol and its underlying software, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by Permission Protocol or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your code, repository content, pull request content, and approval data, subject to the rights needed for us to provide the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Permission Protocol and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed the amounts paid by you to us for the service during the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if continued access would pose a security or operational risk. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms on this page and revise the effective date. Your continued use of the service after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
